Until now… The day was not different from the usual one. I woke up at 10 o`clock, had breakfast, watched some tv and then looked over the internet. Boring, right ?
Well, until the last moment, it was, but no longer. Why ? Because I remembered about one urban legend from that video. Which one ? The one named Bloody Mary. About this one I haven`t found any… Information in english that pleased me, but I`ve found some in romanian, so I`ll just translate that into a short story.
And here it goes:
The story is about a girl named Mary. A normal girl. Her father was a doctor. About her mother I haven`t found out anything.
Everything was perfect in Mary`s life, until a night. That night, her father found her lyeing in her bed, with her eyes open. What`s strange about that ? She wasn`t breathing, nor her heart was beating. Something like a coma. Her father said she was dead, but her mother wouldn`t accept it.
They barried her in their garden and, because of Mary`s mother, they put a bell near the grave and tied a rope to it and to Mary`s hand. What for ? For Mary to pull the string and to make the bell ring when she wakes up out of the coma.
The doctor entered the house with his wife asleep [ he drogged her ]. When he came out, the bell was on the grass. Mary`s father opened the toomb and found her dead, with her eyes open. She had no nails. They where in the lid of the coffin. She tried to get out but she couldn`t.
That was Mary`s death. But what`s the legend?
Well, the legend says that, if you are in the bathroom when it`s dark outside, in front of the mirror, with some candells and say “Bloody Mary” 3 or 13 times, she [ Mary ] will appear in the mirror. Then, she will come out of it and kill you.
That is one version of the legend, though. Another version says that if do this on the Halloween night, in the mirror will appear the face of the men you will marry to or the face of death. If the face of death appears, that means you`ll dye before you marry.
This legend scares me, but after all, it`s just that. A legend.
Love you,
Alexa.
